Yupoong 6606 Retro Trucker — the shape people actually mean
When someone says “trucker hat,” this is usually the silhouette in their head: taller crown, wide flat-ish front, mesh back, snapback tabs. The 6606 is Yupoong’s take on the 1970s original, built with forty-plus years of factory refinement behind it, and it’s been a top seller for so long that it’s effectively become the reference version.
The difference between this and a lower-profile mesh cap is presence. The taller front sits up rather than hugging the head, which gives artwork room to breathe and gives the cap that unmistakable retro read. If you’ve been trying to figure out why a cap you bought elsewhere looks flatter than the ones you like, crown height is almost always the answer.
Sizing
One size fits most, roughly 6⅝” to 7⅝”, adjusted with the plastic snapback tabs at the back.
